I was in a desperate situation, trying all things possible to get myself, my boyfriend, and my two cats from San Jose, across the country to the Central Pacific coast in the mountains.

Since that initial contact, Alex has offered me his personal service for things completely unrelated to our transportation including, but not limited to, assistance with grocery shopping, getting an international SIM card, and offering his translation services if ever needed. He even organized contact to our landlord who does not speak any English, and ensured we had a completely stress-free experience getting to our new home.
The drive that was organized for us was a private shuttle, with an excellent, professional, knowledgeable, bilingual driver. Adolfo indulged us with Costa Rica fun facts the whole drive, stopped for us to take pictures, made sure we stopped for lunch, and waited with us while our landlord met us down the mountain. One of the early highlights of our extended stay in Costa Rica was meeting Alex, and having a smooth ride across Costa Rica.
