Midworld is a rainforest adventure park hidden behind the sprawling African palm farms outside Quepos featuring a superman cable, zip-line tour, ATV tours and hiking trails. Midworld takes guests out into 13,000 acres of rainforest for half-day excursions that include lunch and transportation.

The superman cable is only the final addition to Midworld's 10-cable, 15 platform, 2-hour zip line tour through the premontane, tropical rainforest. Along the way, you'll stand on platforms around massive rainforest trees seven stories above the forest floor, ride 1,500 feet across Midworld's second longest cable and complete two rappels (60 feet and 10 feet).

Halfway through the regular zip line tour you can also try out Midworld's high-rope course (just make sure you tell the guides you want to do the course ahead of time. The course is your opportunity to test your resolve and balance on six different high-wire obstacles. Cross the monkey bridges, walk over a single wire while clinging to hanging ropes, and Tarzan swing between trees before heading back to finish the rest of the regular zip line tour.

ATV

Cross rivers and sling mud on your friends as the back tires of your ATV assail the dirt roads weaving through Midworld's pastures, valleys, and rainforest. Climb through mountain passes and take a break under a mango tree while experiencing the rainforest vistas. Then get back on your ATV and romp through small streams, clay trails and cobblestone paths to visit two different waterfalls, one twenty-feet tall with a plunge pool great for swimming in the dry season (Dec.-April).

ATV tours last 2 to 3 hours with a limit of four riders per guide (larger private groups can be organized). All of the ATVs are automatic. Guides provide an introduction lesson before riding out on the trails and snacks are included.
